What the App accesses
The App requests no access to your products, orders, customers or other store data. It only uses Shopify's billing system to manage your subscription. It stores your tabs (title, icon and the text you write, which can include links and image links) and your settings (which products show which tab, layout and colors) in private app data on your Shopify store, so your theme can show the tabs.
What we store on our servers
- Your shop domain, and the Shopify access and refresh tokens needed to authenticate API requests
- Whether your subscription or free trial is active, when your free trial started, and when the App was installed
- Server logs that record your shop domain alongside technical events (for example webhooks received), used only to operate and troubleshoot the App
We do not collect, store or process any personal data of your customers.
Your storefront visitors
Your theme renders the tabs from the content you saved, using the product's own tags, type, vendor and collections, which your theme already provides. The App sets no cookies, stores nothing on the shopper's device, runs no tracking or analytics, and sends no visitor data to our servers. Opening a tab happens in the shopper's browser and is not saved.
If you add an image to a tab, shoppers' browsers load that image from the address you entered (for example Shopify's own file storage).
Data retention and deletion
When you uninstall the App, Shopify removes the App's stored tabs and settings from your store, and we delete your access token right away. Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customer data request, customer redact and shop redact) are supported; because we hold no customer data, the customer requests need no action, and all remaining shop data is permanently deleted when we receive the shop redact request (48 hours after uninstall). Server logs (which can include your store's myshopify.com address, and the IP addresses of requests to the App's admin pages) are kept only as long as needed to troubleshoot the App.
The App's admin pages load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's font servers when you open the App in Shopify admin. The tabs on your store do not load anything from Google or any other third party.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time what data we hold about your shop, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address below. Data is used only to provide the App and is never sold or shared with third parties.
